No. 72/2021/F.No.15-1/2018/GA Under the Explanation of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1881) read with the Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.2/6/57-J dated 17 December 1957 and in pursuance of the instructions contained in the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs letter No. 14046/27/83-GPI dated 15 February, 1984 and the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training), New Delhi Office Memorandum No. 12/5/2021-JCA-2 dated 08 June 2021, the Lt. Governor of A&N Islands has been pleased to declare the following days to be Public Holidays in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands during Calendar Year 2022.

No. 73/2021/F.No.15-1/2018/GA in pursance of the instructions contained in the Govt. of India, Ministry of Personnel & Training Memorandum No. 12/5/2021- JCA-2 dated 8 June 2021, the Lt. Governor of A&N Islands has been pleased to order that in addition to Public Holidays notified vide A&N Administration’s Notification No. 72/2021/F.no.15-1/2018-GA, each Govt, Servant will be permitted to avail any of the two Restricted Holidays from the list given below during the Calendar Year 2022.
