MK Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, has announced a 4% Dearness Allowance (DA) increase that would take effect on January 1, 2023, for all state employees, including teachers. The state administration made a nice decision with this action because it would give the state’s teachers and employees some much-needed financial relief.
The Chief Minister’s announcement of an additional 4% DA increase will improve the lives of teachers and government employees in Tamil Nadu. the 4% increase in DA that will take effect on January 1st, 2023. They will be able to cover their daily costs because of the increase in DA, and it will also give them some extra money to put away for the future. Result being able to pay its staff and teachers greater wages, will also assist the state government’s financial burden to be lessened.
It’s a good thing that Dearness Allowance has just increased by 4% for teachers, retirees, and family pensioners in Tamil Nadu. The overall DA now stands at 38%. The basic wage or basic pension will be used to determine the amount of DA/DR.
