No. 77/2020/F.NO.15-1/2018/GA Under the Explanation of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (26 of 1881) read with the Govt, of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No.2/6/57-J dated 17th December 1957 and in pursuance of the instructions contained in the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs letter NO.14046/27/83-GPI dated 15th February, 1984 and the Ministry of Personnel & training, PG & Pensions (Dept. of Personnel and Training), New Delhi Office Memorandum No. 12/9/2020-JCA-2 dated 10th June 2020, the Lt. Governor of A&N Islands has been pleased to declare the following days to be Public Holidays in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands during Calendar year 2021.
