When will constitute the 8th pay commission in India?
The 8th Central Pay Commission is expected to constitute in the year 2024 or 2025. The 7th pay commission recommendations were implemented from 1.1.2016 and the 8th recommendations of the 8th pay commission are likely to be implemented from 1.1.2026.
The General Election will be in 2024, before that the BJP government may also constitute the 8th pay commission to revise the pay, allowance, and retirement benefits for Central Government employees and pensioners.
